The sound of wild birdsong really brings your
garden to life and what better way to encourage
birds to visit your garden than to provide them with
the essentials - somewhere to live and something to
eat?
Winter and Spring - when it is cold and wet and birds
are preparing
to raise their young are particularly hard times and the food you put out
and the shelter you provide can be essential for the survival of your local
birds. So if you want to keep that birdsong in your garden why not install
a nest box or two and put up some bird feeders. Water is the other essential
for wild bird survival - which is of particular importance in the depths of
winter when natural sources can all be frozen.
