If you are serious about gardening then some sort
of greenhouse is almost essential - you can get by
using windowledges, cloches or coldframes but
there really is no substitute for a greenhouse. With
a greenhouse you can do so much more than grow
tomatoes: in particular it gives you the opportunity to
overwinter more tender plants in pots and tubs and
hence greatly extend the range of plants you can grow.
Raising seedlings is made that much easier if you have a
greenhouse. You can start them earlier and be confident that they will receive
as much light as they need so that they don't become too leggy.
The ability to control the environment to suit your plants is the greatest advantage afforded by a greenhouse. It is possible to control the amount of light, temperature, ventilation and water supply - and there will be no wind damage. Automated systems can be installed to make your life even easier - follow the links below to our featured suppliers for more info.
